George Duddell, Esquire, was called in and examined.

He said :-

I am an Auctioneer, and have been carrying on business in this Colony since 1844. I am a Marine Lot Holder. My Lots are, Lot 67, Lot 32, Lot 25, Lot 65 and Lot 41, all Marine Lots. I was present at the two meetings of Marine Lot Holders convened in November last, to take into consideration
